Gboccia

Installation and Start

• Download Gboccia
• Compile Gboccia

• tar -xvzf gboccia-*.tar.gz 
  

• cd gboccia 
  

• ./configure

• make

• Run Gboccia

• cd src

• ../lib/indi/src/indiserver ./gboccia &

• cd ../indi_client

• python gboccia.py

Options

• Turn on the .Fits output and the kernel driver access
• In the file ./src/fitsoutput.c

• int fitsoutput_simlation_mode=0;
  

• In the file ./src/ccu.c

• int ccu_simulation_mode=0;
  

• Update the Gboccia configuration files
• Gboccia is receiving image data from a kernel driver.This drivers has been written especially for our hardware and does not fulfill the formal requirements of kernel-driver, furthermore it is dependent on the Cypress FX2 Chip and the related firmware, both are copyrighted by Cypress. See homepage of Jens Dopke who did a similar project and has documented everything very well. He also provides some firmware sources.
